Orc-Elf Feud is a Side Quest in Divinity: Original Sin Enhanced Edition. This quest is initiated by speaking with Eglandaer in Cyseal. He will tell you about his feud with the tribe of Orcs who killed his family. He will also tell you he wants revenge against the last of that tribe, Victora (the Mayor Cecil's daughter). Your task will be to decide how to deal with Eglandaer's thirst for vengeance.

Objectives

1. Speak with Eglandaer at the King Crab Inn
2. Choose between OPTION 1 - 5.
   • Option 1: Oppose and Kill him right away.
   • Option 2: Kill Victoria, loot her amulet, bring it to him.
   • Option 3: Convince Victoria to lend you her amulet, bring it to him then loot it from him.
   • Option 4: Steal the amulet from Victoria, bring it to him.
   • Option 5: Convince Victoria to press charges against him. Speak with Aureus. Steal Bloody Amulet from Eglandaer as evidence. Give it to Aureus.

Walkthrough

• Speak with Eglandaer to learn about his story. He will ask you to kill Victoria and bring her Amulet as proof. Victoria is Mayor Cecil's daughter and she can be found in the library on the 2nd Floor of his house.
• You can choose one of the following 5 ways to complete this quest:
  Option 1: You can contest him right there and kill him when he attacks you.
  • This will gain you +750 XP for killing him, +1800 XP for completing the quest, whatever loot he had on him and a key for the chest in the King Crab Inn basement.

• Option 2: You can kill Victoria and bring her Amulet back to Eglandaer for your reward.
  • This will gain you +645 XP for killing her and +1800 XP for completing the quest. You will have to pickpocket Eglandaer for a key for the chest in the King Crab Inn basement.
  • NOTE: If you kill Victoria, Mayor Cecil will not speak with you for the rest of the game and as a result you will lose access to several side quests. It does not affect Main Quest though. Victoria also almost always has a few blank scrolls for sale, which can be quite rare for the other merchants in Cyseal.

• Option 3: You can convince Victoria (by winning RPS game) to lend you her amulet "for the greater good" and then bring her Amulet back to Eglandaer for your reward.
  • This will gain you +300 XP for convincing her and +1800 XP for completing the quest. You will have to pickpocket Eglandaer for a key for the chest in the King Crab Inn basement.

• Option 4: You can pickpocket Victoria for her amulet and then it back to Eglandaer for your reward.
  • This will gain you +1800 XP for completing the quest. You will have to pickpocket Eglandaer for a key for the chest in the King Crab Inn basement.

• Option 5: You can convince Victoria to press charges against Eglandaer and have him arrested. You will need to speak to Captain Aureus at the Legion HQ about this. He will ask for evidence, which you can achieve by pickpocketing from Eglandaer his Bloody Amulet.
  • This will gain you +300 XP for convincing her and +1800 XP for completing the quest. You will also get +1 Reputation for having him arrested. You will have to kill Eglandaer in prison for a key for the chest in the King Crab Inn basement. You can do this by teleporting yourself into his cell, killing him and taking his body loot.
