If you can get the jump on an encounter, buff your archer(s), and fire this off, you can wipe the floor with most enemies. Super strong even without all the setup.

A little observation:
Archer skills can't crit and scale from weapon damage, so they are heavily biased towards bow ability, because of its +10% dmg per point invested. So going for master skills is a must for bow mainers, while crossbow users should not put more then 2 points into Expert Marksman or can even do with 1. You always want to use auto-attack rather than skill with your crossbow because of crits, so I see a crossbow build only as a Guerilla sniper build that goes for stealth pick ups. It is sad that crossbows are only viable for cheesy builds, but +1 AP cost and poor skill synergy is to much of a drawback to justify them. A great skill for bowmen though.

Archer is way OP in this game.
This is the best most damaging skill in the game. Master mage spells cost like 9 or 11 APs while this costs 8 APs and you can use it more than once in a fight (though everything usually dies in 1 turn using this skill)
